MUSICIANS are tuning up to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of one of the world's greatest composers.
Barnard Castle School Choral Society will pay tribute to Mozart with a concert in Bowes Museum on Friday.
Directed by the school's head of music, Mark Mawhinney, the concert will feature the Overture of the Magic Flute and the Great Mass in C Minor. Soloists Jessica Holmes, Gillian Dodd, Andrew Fowler and Peter Coulson will perform.
It starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 and £12. For details, call (01833) 696010. The concert will be featured on BBC Radio Cleveland.
