THREE charity supporters are preparing for the daunting task of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Darlington Centenary Rotary Club members Jo Daly, Mike Applegarth and Alasdair Ross will be aiming to reach the summit of the peak in Tanzania.
Their efforts, which start on February 17, are in aid of the Hope and Homes for Children charity, which helps orphaned youngsters in Kosovo, the Balkans and Africa.
As part of the fundraising, Mr Ross, who manages his own human resources business, ran a wine-tasting and cheese evening, which raised almost £800.
