PUPILS from a Darlington school are celebrating after landing a £5,000 grant to design their own chill out room.
The students, from Hummersknott School and Language College, will be able to pick their furniture and decorate the room, which will be available to the whole school.
The money has come from Awards for All and the room will be used mainly after school for students to relax and socialise in. It will also be used for guest speakers and former pupils of the school who will speak to students and offer them careers advice.
