A SERIES of exhibitions will outline planned improvements for Norton.
Stockton Borough Council is inviting residents to have their say on them and suggest possible alternatives.
The exhibitions will look at medium term improvements to traffic movement and parking at Norton Green and the High Street. The will take place on:
* Thursday, at the Norton Library, 4pm to 7pm
* Next Friday, The Parish Hall, Norton Green, 2pm to 5pm
* Wednesday, February 1, The Parish Hall, Norton Green, 6pm to 8pm
* Thursday, February 2, The Norton Library, 10am to 2pm.
The proposals include a roundabout or traffic signals at the junction with the High Street, a one-way system along the service road adjacent to Red House Junior School and improved pedestrian facilities, including footpath widening at Mill Lane/Norton Green.
Plans will be on display outlining each of the proposals and council officers will be on hand to discuss the different options.
Councillor Bob Cook, Stockton council's cabinet member for regeneration and transport, said: "We value all feedback from residents in the borough which helps us to improve the area and we look forward to people's comments."
