ART enthusiasts have until this weekend to see drawings of creatures from folklore in a Durham gallery.
Strange Land, Mythic Art by Andrew Paciorek is being displayed in the Print Room at the Durham Light Infantry Museum.
His work is inspired by mythical creatures from the British Isles, Ireland and Brittany and features pen drawings with subtle lighting to create atmosphere.
He has scanned his images in to a computer and uses special effects to create colour and digitally enhance them.
The show comes after he researched, wrote and illustrated an unpublished manuscript called Strange Land: An Illustrated Guide To The Supernatural Creatures Of The Celtic World.
Mr Paciorek has now been commissioned by Harper Collins to write a book called The Element Encyclopaedia of Mythical Creatures.
The show runs until Sunday.
