SUCCESS stories from a scheme to regenerate a town will be at the heart of an event for residents.
The Stockton Renaissance group will highlight community projects at the Arc centre, in Dovecot Street, from 4pm to 7.30pm on Tuesday, and will show what has been achieved.
There will also be a look to the future for the borough.
The Youthy project in Thornaby is one scheme to have received Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) funding and has proved hugely popular for young people.
The project received SRB funding of £959,959, with more than £465,000 of other public funding and about £68,000 in private funding.
Twelve full-time permanent jobs have been created in the facility and more than 9,000 young people have benefited from the Youthy and the range of programmes, workshops and projects there that have helped their development.
Stockton Renaissance is the Local Strategic Partnership for Stockton borough. The celebration will give locals the chance to learn about the scheme's successes with the launch of a DVD, along with information from agencies.
There will also be prizes on offer, including a pair of tickets to see Middlesbrough Football Club play Aston Villa on February 4, and there will be a free draw for Tesco shopping vouchers.
