POLICE are appealing for information after a large supply of potentially fatal drugs were stolen in Marske. The incident happened outside Marske Veterinary Surgery, in Marske High Street, shortly after noon on Monday when a delivery was being made to the surgery. Thieves stole a white Ford Transit van, which contained a large supply of drugs and animal food, while the driver was in the surgery. Police said the drugs were potentially fatal if taken by humans. FOREST EVENTS: The second in a six-week series of Sunday forest runs will take place at Guisborough Forest and Walkway from 10am to noon on Sunday. A qualified coach will be on hand to instruct and encourage new runners or give advice to improve people's running technique. It costs £1 a session. Meanwhile, staff from the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust and the countryside rangers at the forest and walkway will hold a morning of animal tracking and tree identification from 10am to noon on Sunday.
