Police hunting for murdered teenager Jenny Nicholl have made two arrests.

Detectives swooped on two houses in Miss Nicholl's home town of Richmond early this morning.

They took away two men who are now being questioned. The houses have been sealed off and are being searched by forensics teams.

Twenty-year-old Jenny Nicholl vanished seven months ago after leaving the home she shared with her parents on June 30.

Her car was found on the outskirts of town a few days later, after she had been reported missing. In early November, police announced they were treating the case as murder but no body has yet been found.
