A SCHOOL football team is kitted out for success after receiving a strip from a local firm.
Woodhouse Close Junior School's football side take on nearby schools on a regular basis, but after so much wear and tear, their old kits needed replacing.
PM Plumbing and Heating, from Bishop Auckland, stepped in with a full home and away strip to ensure that they look the part when playing their games.
A red and blue home kit and an all-blue change strip have been provided for the school, which has a team for both boys and girls.
"The strips were quite old and, while all the other schools looked smart, ours had been run down a bit," said teaching assistant Ian Nicholson, who runs the teams.
The school sought a sponsor, and Paul McEnteggert from the plumbing company offered to provide the kits.
"They are fantastic, absolutely superb," said Mr Nicholson. "We are very grateful and would like to give a big thank-you to them."
