UniBond League: Bishop Auckland manager Brian Healy admitted that he was "embarrassed" after his side were beaten 4-0 at home by Shepshed on Saturday in the UniBond League.

Bishops have now lost their last 11 matches to leave them well adrift of safety. Healy said: "The performance was totally unacceptable. Some players need to look at themselves, because they are making the same mistakes week after week.

"Shepshed wanted to win more than we did, and they outbattled and outworked us". Bishops went a goal behind after four minutes with a strike by Andrew Bourne, then Chris Gray got the second just before half-time.

Darryl Thomas and Jordan Lambert scored further goals in the second half.

Gateshead beat Bradford PA. Paul Thompson and Terry Taylor scored their goals before Bradford pulled one back in the last minute.

Whitby beat Lincoln United 2-1 at the Turnbull Ground. Whitby scored first through Marc Eccles, Danny Farthing got a second after half-time before Lincoln netted.

Blyth's run in the FA Trophy came to an end when they were beaten 3-1 at home by Conference club Welling.

Welling were 3-0 up by the 50th minute. But Blyth battled back, and Graeme Fenton pulled one back with a volley.
