BLAYDON director of rugby Tony Gandy believes it's win or bust for his side now.
The Crow Trees outfit currently sit fourth in National Division Three North and are at third-bottom Cleckheaton today.
They missed the chance to narrow the gap between themselves and one of their closest challengers for promotion, Bradford and Bingley, last weekend, losing 21-20.
It was a game they should have won, but penalties, both for and against, proved the difference.
"That result makes life more difficult and means we have got to win all our games from now on, really," Gandy said. "As well as the penalties we gave away, we also had a couple of opportunities of our own and we didn't take them. We decided to kick for the corner but the lineouts weren't working very well.
"We played well, but we just didn't have the end product."
Gandy is confident the club can get back to winning ways against a side they handed a sound beating to earlier in the season.
"We beat them very well at home, I think it was the highest score there has been in the division this year, 74-10," he said. "But they have improved quite a lot since then, albeit with the same players. However, we are hopeful and confident."
Blaydon hope to field an unchanged side for the match, however, that will only be the case if Martin Shaw and Andrew Fenby, shoulder and groin injury respectively, recover. If they don't Rob Windle and Simon Barber fill in at centre and wing.
Darlington Mowden Park will have to upset the form book if they are to taste success in their National Three North match with second-placed Bradford and Bingley. Bradford have won their last six matches and all five at Wagon Lane.
Mowden are in 11th spot but have only managed one win in their last four. On the road, they have played just four matches so far this season picking up two wins at local rivals Darlington and Tynedale.
The Bees did not have it all their own way in the fixture earlier in the season but came through 25-18 winners.
Sixth-placed Darlington, meanwhile, are at home to bottom side Kendal.
Durham City make three changes for their rearranged North Two East fixture against Sandal. City are third and should have too much for their bottom-placed opponents.
James Walker comes in at full back with Tomas Bieliauskas on the wing. The only other change is in the back row where Howard Johnson plays at flanker.
* Stockton's first XV are without a game this week, but the club's other senior teams are in action, including the Colts who are at home in a cup match against Cleckheaton (ko 1.30pm).
