THREE teenagers were seriously injured in an accident involving four vehicles.
The crash happened on the A1068 at Red Row, Morpeth, Northumberland, at the junction with the B1330, at 4.05pm on Tuesday.
The incident happened when a VW Bora car travelling south on the A1068 was involved in an accident with a red Vauxhall Astra and two other vehicles travelling north. The 19-year-old Astra driver is critical in hospital.
A 13-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl travelling in the same car suffered serious injuries. Three people were treated for minor injuries.
