POLICE are appealing for information after four dogs were stolen from an allotment.
The allotments off Carr Street, in Spennymoor, County Durham, were broken into between 11.45pm on Sunday and 8.15am on Monday.
The thieves made off with four dogs that were kept at the garden, which the owner is keen to have returned safe and well. They also took a black and red Honda generator.
Thieves took two and three year-old border terrier bitches, a 14-month-old terrier bitch and a red grizzled three-year-old border terrier which has an identification tattoo in its left ear.
