A man found himself before the courts today for harassing his own mother.
Julian Neil Wild, of Dawson House, Billingham, is said to have gone to his mother's home in Dalton Piercey, near Hartlepool, on December 8 last year - despite a restraining order preventing him from approaching her.
Hartlepool Magistrates Court heard the 37-year-old had gone to her home to get some clothes, breaching the order.
However, Wild claimed he had called her before for permission to approach her house.
The case was adjourned until January 25 and Wild was released on bail on condition that he does not communicate with his mother, other than through his lawyer, or go within 500 meters of her home. .
