Talented youngsters from a Bishop Auckland dance school took part in the opening celebrations of the new home of North-East dance.
Students from Richardson's Dance Studio performed a sequence at Dance City, in Newcastle, on Saturday as part of a week-long opening celebration.
The troupe of 22 young people, who have all been dancing since they were about three years old, were invited by Raul Coulderon, Dance City's regional development director, to perform a Latin American freestyle routine.
Their show was one of the opening events to mark the move of Dance City, the National Dance Agency for the North-East of England, to a purpose built £7.6m facility.
Studio boss, Sue Richardson, said: "We were delighted to be able to take 22 youngsters to perform in the fabulous new home of Dance City.
"The atmosphere was electric, a fantastic time was had by all."
