WORKERS at a Darlington business park now have no excuses for breaking New Year keep-fit resolutions.
For Lingfield Point, which is home to more than 30 firms, is offering employees the chance to join a range of fitness classes.
The Zone Active sessions - run by Darlington Borough Council and Darlington and District Youth and Community Association - and have been staged at the park's on-site caf, Point Break.
The project offers free weight management, blood pressure, grip strength and lung capacity checks.
Taster sessions of a number of exercise classes are also being held on the site, including yoga, Pilates, easy keep-fit and aerobics.
The sessions allow participants to try the different disciplines before signing up for a regular programme.
Eddie Humphries, Lingfield Point estate manager, said: "At this time of year, people make resolutions to lose weight and exercise, but often it is difficult to find the time.
"By bringing fitness and health management to the workplace, we hope to encourage more people to get involved.
"Lingfield Point is much more than just somewhere to work and this is one of a number of projects we will be launching this year to benefit our occupiers and their staff."
