SIX companies from the region are joining forces to showcase their products and services in London this week as they take part in the UK's largest education technology exhibition.
As part of the Teaching with Technology stand, which is hosted by North-East digital industries trade association Codeworks Connect, the companies will be exhibiting at Bett 2006, which runs from Wednesday to Saturday at London's Olympia.
The companies are Caspian Learning, from Sunderland; L2, from Barnard Castle, County Durham; Northern Grid for Learning, from Gateshead; deBurca, from Sedgefield, County Durham; School Alert, from Darlington and Des/Eduk8, from Newcastle.
Bett is the largest event of its kind in the UK, promoting and selling education technology to thousands of delegates from the education sector.
Codework's stand will include information on 3D games-based learning and broadband provision and award-nominated language learning solutions.
Sophie Lee, Codeworks marketing manager, said: "This is a crucial tradeshow for all of the Teaching with Technology companies and we are working in partnership with them to maximise the presence of North-East technology companies at Bett 2006."
