PEOPLE will have to get their skates on if they want to visit a temporary ice rink.
Polar Productions set up the rink in Mowbray Park, Sunderland, last month.
It has been a big success but it is due to close at 8.15pm on Sunday.
A spokeswoman for Sunderland City Council said: "The ice rink has been popular throughout the festive period, attracting 6,000 people over the Christmas period alone, and over 30,000 people in total since its opening at the beginning of December."
The rink is open every day from 10.30am to 8.15pm.
One-hour sessions cost £5.50 for adults and £4.50 for children.
