A Huge wildlife mural is to cover the walls of a new education centre.
The work is being created by artists Liz Million and Adam Baldwin at the Outside In centre, in South Park, Darlington, over the next seven weeks.
This month, schoolchildren are adding their own artistic touch, helping with the wildlife scenes showing animals that are found in the park.
When complete, the mural will cover the walls of the centre, which has been created as part of a £3.9m Lottery-funded revamp of the park.
Lee Vasey, Darlington Borough Council's cabinet member for leisure services, said: "The Outside In is a very historic part of Darlington.
"Teachers will be able to include visits to the park in lessons and use the centre as a base for learning outside the classroom."
