POLICE are hunting two men who went into a Durham supermarket and stole a bottle of wine.
It happened at about 8.30pm on Saturday, September 24, in the Co-op in Gilesgate.
They went to the wine display and one was seen removing wine and hiding it in his clothing.
The other went to the check-out and paid for other items and the pair then left the store without paying for the wine.
The man who took the wine was white, aged about 30, about 6ft 4in, of medium build and with short dark hair.
He was clean-shaven and was wearing a dark brown woollen zip-up cardigan and dark trousers, possibly jeans.
The other man was white, aged about 40, about 5ft 8in, slight, with short greying hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit top.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
