A PHOTOGRAPHER from the North-East is helping families and organisations record their histories.
Dave Foster, of North Point Multimedia, turns photographs into DVD documentaries, complete with a commentary.
Mr Foster and radio presenter Brian Clough, a Northern Echo photographer, have just completed a pictorial history of Lanchester. Following on its success, the company has been asked to produce a history of Consett.
Mr Foster said: "We will be starting on the project in the New Year and it will come in three parts. The first will feature the former steelworks, the second will highlight Consett's industrial past and present and the third will feature its social history from its origins to the present day."
Mr Foster has also completed a mini production for the Ministry of Defence which is being used as a recruitment tool for the Royal Marines.
