SOME shops in Bishop Auckland will be open today in what is the final day of the town's Christmas opening hours.
A number of stores in Newgate Street will be open for business, before the high street returns to normal tomorrow.
There will also be free parking in all council short-stay car parks after 10.30am today, as well as January 9, January 16, January 23 and January 30.
At all other times, customers can claim 50p back from shops participating in the Carpark Cashback scheme.
