ROTARIANS in Chester-le-Street are offering to collect people's Christmas trees when the festivities are over.
The town's Rotary Club will collect real trees from people's homes on Monday, January 9, and take them for recycling.
The club is asking for donations to its president's charities, the North-East Air Ambulance Service and Bournmoor Scouts.
Anyone wanting their tree to be taken away should call club secretary Fred Richards on 0191-388 2312.
