PRIMARY school youngsters have been spreading a bit of seasonal cheer by serenading dignitaries and visitors to their home town.
The children, from schools in Ferryhill, have been taking part in the Christmas carol concerts in the gardens of Ferryhill Town Hall on Friday mornings.
Pupils from Broom Cottages Primary School started off the weekly concerts with singers from Cleves Cross Primary School Infants and Juniors and the choir from Dean Bank Primary performing at the second concert.
Ferryhill Station Primary School brought the programme to a finish last Friday, serenading market stall holders and shoppers.
