YOUNGSTERS from a Middlesbrough primary school have presented a Christmas nativity performance with a difference.
Reception pupils from Pallister Park Primary School impressed staff and parents with their performance of The Grumpy Sheep, a musical centred around a cross, lazy sheep with the wrong idea of what to expect about baby Jesus.
Six-year-old Katie Sargent took on the leading role.
Headteacher Chris Wain said: "It was brilliant and it was well attended - we had about 150 people there."
Youngsters from years three to six will hold a carol service at the school tomorrow from 9.30am.
