POLICE are appealing for help to find a hospital patient who disappeared more than two weeks ago.
The man went to Darlington Memorial Hospital and, after being examined, agreed to attend West Park Hospital as a voluntary patient.
But at about 7pm, on Sunday, November 27, he walked out of the ward where he had been receiving treatment for depression and has not been seen since.
The man gave his name as John Booth, but police believe it may not be his real name. He gave a fictitious address in Darlington and was carrying documents in the name of William O'Leary.
He is believed to be 55, although he looks older, and is thought to be single and unemployed.
He is 6ft, stocky, clean-shaven, with grey receding hair and glasses.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0845 60 60 365 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
