YOUNGSTERS in Darlington are celebrating after dancing their way to exam success.
Pupils from Joanne Lowe's School of Dance took exams through the International Dance Teachers' Association.
Joanne Lowe, 25, who teaches at the ASE Club, in Northgate, said: "I'm delighted for my pupils, who have really worked hard for their exams."
The results were:
Bronze: Charlotte Diver, Danny Lewin, Sophie Reed, Jordan Sandford, Emma Shoulder, Emily Stewart (commended), Vicky Ashton, Bethany Bates, Charlotte Hammond, Sophie Middleton, Ashleigh Oniell, Jade Reed, Eloise Ross, Dana Wheeldon, Charlene Wigham (highly commended), Chelsea Ridmile (honours).
Silver: Amy Clark, Shelby Godfrey, Chantelle Plews, Caitlin Smith, Katie Tinion (commended), Gabrielle James, Georgi Nicholson, Alicia Pattison, Amy Robson (highly commended), Jo Maxwell, Nichole Maxwell (honours).
Gold: Lauren Jeffery (commended), Chloe Beckwith, Charlotte Crackett, Abbie Hemmings, Aimee Winter (highly commended), Jade Bale, Hannah Yates (honours).
1st gold bar: Kayleigh Beckwith, Shannon Bowe, Jade Hardy, Corrina Pattison, Courtney Thompson, Poppy Winter (highly commended), Katie Trotman (honours).
