POLICE are trying to trace the owners of more than 100 suspected stolen car CD players.
Officers in Sunderland have recovered a large number of car CD players, worth a total of more than £6,000, from a house in the Pennywell area of the city, but they believe they could have been stolen from across County Durham and Northumberland.
They want to hear from anyone who has had a car stereo stolen, with details of the theft and make, model and serial number.
People are asked to call police on 0191-454 7555 ext 66659.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested and bailed.
