A MARKET town school which performed well in its Ofsted inspection has been given a helping hand from the parish council.
As a thank you to the school for its efforts, Masham Parish Council has agreed to spend £700 on computer equipment, with the hope of further help.
Benefiting from the gift will be pupils and staff at Masham Church of England Primary School, near Ripon.
Parish council vice-chairman Councillor Flo Grainger said: "Everyone at the school must have worked very hard to achieve such success and we wanted to say thank you by donating some money towards their IT suite."
