FUNDRAISERS in east Cleveland have gathered nearly £3,000 for two local lifeboat stations.
Customers from The Annandale pub, Skelton, presented cheques worth £2,700 to Staithes and Redcar RNLI lifeboats.
Money was raised, in a year, through quizzes, raffles and games nights held at the pub, organised by Robert Walker.
Landlady Denise Fraser said: "Since 1998, we have raised nearly £46,000 for numerous local charities. Everyone at the pub enjoys the events we organise and it allows us to give something back to the local area."
Staithes lifeboat spokesman Lee Jackson said: "We are delighted to receive this cheque and we really appreciate the generosity of the locals at The Annandale. The money will go towards lifeboat crew training, protective clothing and the day-to-day running of the lifeboat stations."
