STUDENTS from Stockton Sixth Form College have performed modern magic, by creating a website for the Middlesbrough Circle of Magicians.
Sophie Dunning, 17, and Steven Roberts, 18, took part in the Gold Crest awards for creativity in science and technology, at the University of Durham.
They created a website for the Middlesbrough Circle, which boasts 60 members, including Paul Daniels.
Eddie Loughran, secretary of the circle, said: "We are incredibly impressed with the work that Sophie and Steven have put in.
"The new site is very professional, and I would say one of the best of its type in the country. It is fantastic."
Martin Youngman is a member of the circle and teaches the pair information technology.
He said: "They have done a great job creating the new website, which is great for telling members of the circle what is going on, and to encourage would-be magicians to join us."
