PROTESTORS will next week call for better treatment for asylum seekers.
A demonstration is being organised by people concerned with the treatment of refugees, who have their applications for asylum refused and have been removed from Britain. A vigil will take place in Middlesbrough town centre on Wednesday.
Protest spokeswoman Kath Sainsbury said: "We are holding a short vigil to protest about the treatment of asylum seekers by the UK Government and to remember those who have been forcibly removed back to places of danger."
