A North-East woman has been saved - by her quick-thinking dog.
The woman, from Billingham, suffered a diabetic fit and officials say her life was probably saved by her pet which pressed a panic button to alert council wardens.
The prize pooch has been specially trained to help in the event of a diabetic attack. Full story in The Northern Echo tomorrow.
