COUNCIL bosses are to be given an update on efforts to boost recycling in the area.
The Darlington Environmental Forum is meeting in the town hall on Monday.
A report to the forum says 20 buses operating on the main routes in Darlington are bearing images urging residents to think about the environment.
Work to enlarge the Whessoe Road tip has been completed, with officials confident that it will help the council reach an overall household waste recycling rate of more than 20 per cent.
Presentations have also been made to Polam Hall School pupils, informing them of the benefits of recycling.
