THREE non-executive directors have been invited by the NHS Appointments Commission to serve a further term on the board of Easington Primary Care Trust (PCT).
The appointments, which will run from this month, include Councillor Robin Todd, the deputy chairman of the PCT, who has been an Easington District councillor for 40 years.
Colin Patching, a member of Easington District Council, is also a lecturer in English at the City of Sunderland College.
Wendy Westmorland, who taught in local schools for 30 years, has no political involvement.
All three will receive an annual fee of 5,637
