POLICE issued a new appeal yesterday after failing to trace the owners of property believed to be stolen, which was seized in a village.
They asked anyone who has lost any of the items to contact the police at Barnard Castle, County Durham, and claim them. The items were all recovered in the search at Cockfield.
They include two yellow McKenzie angle grinders in black cases, a yellow petrol strimmer engine, and an orange and white Stihl chainsaw.
They also seized a pink and white Yamaha 50cc motorcycle on which the frame number has been removed, a yellow and blue trials bike with no numbers, and two Kayaba mini-motorbikes, one red and one yellow.
Sergeant Bill Dutton asked anyone with information about the owners to call 0845 60 60 365.
