CAROL THATCHER was last night crowned Queen of the Jungle as I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Came to an end.
Carol Thatcher, ex-EastEnders actor Sid Owen and former Emmerdale star Sheree Murphy had been the final three in the ITV show, hosted by Geordie duo Ant and Dec.
Sid was voted in third place while Sheree Murphy came second.
The contestants survived the trials and tribulations of the Australian jungle, and the public vote, which on Monday night saw former pop group member Jimmy Osmond evicted.
Following his exit, the squeaky-clean singer admitted that he did not know who would win.
"I don't really know, I think the public will decide that," said the youngest of The Osmonds.
Carol, daughter of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, had been the favourite with many bookmakers after impressing viewers with her courage and sense of humour.
But soap babe Sheree had also won a large army of fans for her positive outlook and bravery when faced with her fears, and Sid had proved that there was more to him than his old Ricky Butcher character.
All three finalists were honoured for their time in the jungle, as the contestants held their own awards ceremony.
Sheree - who is married to Liverpool footballer Harry Kewell - was presented with the award for most courageous camper by Sid, who said "the cheeky Cockney sparrow" was the only choice after overcoming many of her fears during her time in the jungle.
