A GROUP of Elvis impersonators will visit a North-East university this week.
They are taking part in a panel discussion, with the impersonators sharing their experiences of being the King.
The free event, at Sunderland University's Vardy Gallery from 6pm tomorrow, is part of the exhibition Once More... With Feeling, which looks at re-enactments in contemporary art and culture.
The main exhibition continues at the Vardy Gallery with video installations by Yoko Ono, filmed in 1964 and 2003, in which John Lennon's widow's clothes are cut away by members of the public.
Another video installation on show is a re-enactment of the 1984 Miners' Strike, produced by Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller and filmed by British director Mike Figgis.
Other events will include three films devoted to repetition and re-enactment - Groundhog Day, Theatre of Blood and Memento.
For tickets to the Elvis talk, call 0191-515 2128.
