AN engineering company in North Yorkshire expects turnover to reach £750,000 in the next two years thanks to a loan from UK Steel Enterprise (UKSE).
Janggus Hydraulics, which recently moved to larger premises on the Terry Dickens Estate, in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, is using the loan to buy equipment and recruit two workers and an apprentice to join its team of seven.
As well as supplying, fitting and repairing hydraulic equipment, Janggus also designs and builds systems to almost any specification.
Mike Fawcett, whose father Keith founded the company in 1982, said: "We are increasingly involved in a varied range of projects with an expanding number of customers and industries.
"Our expertise has been called upon from as far afield as India, as well as across the UK, from customers in the marine, industrial, civil engineering and agricultural sectors."
Nick Johnson, regional executive for UKSE, said: "We support companies in areas affected by changes in the steel industry and Janggus is exactly the sort of company UKSE wants to help grow.
"They are high-tech and innovative and great ambassadors for the region."
