MUSICIANS in Darlington are preparing to embark on a programme of festive events.
After a summer of outdoor appearances, Cockerton Band is tuning up for the Christmas season.
One of the highlights this year will be the band's first concert at The Forum Music Centre, in Borough Road, Darlington. Playing a repertoire of Christmas favourites, organisers say the band has something for all tastes.
The group also has a new musical director, George Nicklin. Tickets for the Forum concert, on Friday at 7.45pm, are £3 and are available by telephoning (01325) 482901.
