A SENIOR health figure is stepping down from the board of Darlington Primary Care Trust (PCT).
Non-executive director Marion Pickersgill joined the trust at its inception in April 2002.
During her time on the board she has been involved in issues surrounding older people, the Memorial Hospital and various panels.
Trust chairman Sandra Pollard told board members: "Marion has rarely missed a meeting or even a seminar, come to that, which is a record that cannot be beaten.
"We are all very grateful for everything she has done.
"It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with so many committed people at what I believe is a truly great PCT."
Mrs Pollard presented her with a bouquet of flowers in recognition of her efforts over the years.
