STRESSED shoppers can take a break with festive street theatre.
In the run-up to Christmas, there will be a host of entertainment in Stockton, Yarm, Thornaby and Billingham.
The Bread and Butter Theatre, Matt Barnard and Faceless will be in Yarm and Thornaby on Thursday, December 8, at Thornaby Pavilion and Yarm Town Hall, between 11.30am and 2.30pm.
Billingham Town Centre will host Bread and Butter Theatre, Fairly Famous Family and Mark Mark Productions on Monday, December 12, from 11.30am until 3.30pm.
The final chance to catch the comedy street theatre is on Thursday, December 22, when both Wellington Square and the Castlegate Centre welcome Faceless, Fairly Famous Family and Swank-Festival Frolics. The walkabout shows will be between 11am and 3pm.
On Saturdays, December 10, 17 and 24, the Salvation Army Band will provide music at Wellington Square.
It will also perform in Stockton's Ropner Park's bandstand on Sunday, December 18, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
Billingham Silver Band will be in Billingham Town Centre on Sunday and Saturday, December 17.
