AN arts group is getting into the world of festive gifts with their latest show.
Rural Arts North Yorkshire is running an exhibition of Christmas crafts for sale at its new creative venue, the Old Courthouse, in Westgate, Thirsk, on the weekend of December 10 and 11.
Entry is free, and prices of the works on show vary from £2 to £200.
The work will range from handmade cards, to textiles, such as felt cushions and bags, luxurious lingerie, glass and ceramics.
Artists and craftspeople taking part include: Jackie Lunn, textiles; Julia Smith, handmade lingerie; Jo Bagshaw, jeweller; Sophie Hamilton, ceramist; and Rachel Gretton, glass and jewellery.
Christmas Crafts will be open between 10am and 4pm, refreshments will be on sale and there is full disabled access to the venue. Free parking is available locally.
* A variety of courses are planned for the new year. They include media and digital photography, as well as craft-based master classes on felt-making, glass and jewellery.
