FREE tickets are being offered for a school pantomime, thanks to a landowner and six companies who have paid for them.
They have given donations covering the price of more than 200 tickets, which will be handed out before the show at the school at Staindrop, near Barnard Castle.
People will be able to enjoy the free night on Monday, December 12, at 6pm.
Anyone who wants to claim a ticket, or nominate a worthy group or organisation, is asked to contact the school on (01833) 660285.
Residents in Teesdale and Weardale are also being invited to nominate elderly neighbours or large families who may wish to attend.
The pantomime, called Snow White and a Cast of Many, has been written and produced by Staindrop schoolteacher Sean Towers, who is study support co-ordinator.
Another of the teachers, Alyson Carr, said yesterday: "We are grateful to the seven sponsors, and delighted to be able to offer free tickets to so many people."
Providing the tickets are Lord Barnard, Asda, William Morrison, CA Group of Evenwood, GlaxoSmith Kline and the Tinsley Group of Evenwood.
