A CAMPAIGN to improve junctions on one of the busiest roads in North Yorkshire has gone online
Details of the A64 Malton and Norton Junctions Action Group campaign can be viewed on the Internet, thanks to a partnership by members of the group.
The website has been produced by the Fitzwilliam Estate and staff at Ryedale District Council to ensure that members of the public can be more involved in the work of the group.
"The campaign is continuing to grow from strength to strength," said district council chairwoman, Councillor Lindsay Burr.
"The website will be a valuable resource, allowing even more people the opportunity to see what we are seeking to achieve and why. It will also enable them to add their support to the campaign."
The website, which has been produced by Navigator PR on behalf of the Fitzwilliam Estate, contains details of the campaign and maps of the proposed junctions. It will also feature details of the group, including meeting dates and updates on the campaign.
"The website will provide an up-to-date, accessible way for more people to get involved with the campaign," said the manager of the Fitzwilliam Estate, Roddy Bushell.
"The campaign is vital to ensure that Malton and Norton's economy continues to grow and I know that the website will be an essential communication tool."
