FORENSIC tests will be carried out to establish what caused a 26-year-old cricketer's death, after a post-mortem examination was inconclusive.
Cricketer and rugby player Mark Foster was found dead in his home in Ormesby Bank, Middlesbrough.
There are no suspicious circumstances, but samples have been sent for forensic tests, including toxicology tests.
Friends said popular Mr Foster lived life to the full.
Players at Marton Cricket Club, which he played for, were shocked at his death.
Chairman Steve Clarke said: "He scored a magnificent century, the best I have ever seen, against Thornaby last season and I know he was thrilled at the prospect of playing for us in the Premier Division."
Middlesbrough first team captain Martin Bell said: "Everybody loved him to bits. He was a man you wanted in your team."
Police said they were investigating his death.
