ACCOUNTANCY recruitment specialist Ken Wilson Associates (KWA) has appointed CARL SWANSBURY to manage its accountancy recruitment division in Newcastle.
The 22-year-old, from Philadelphia, County Durham, joins KWA from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
His financial career has seen him take responsibility for many audit assignments and he has provided companies across the world with business guidance and auditing services.
He was involved in the statutory audits of many of PricewaterhouseCoopers' FTSE 100 clients, such as Barratt Homes, Arriva and Northern Rock. He was also runner-up in the 2004 Young Achievers of the Year Award and received recognition for his achievements at a ceremony in central London.
Managing director Ken Wilson said: "I am confident that he will excel in his role as consultant to manage the re-launch of our accountancy recruitment division. He is an outstanding communicator with exceptional knowledge of the accountancy profession and will prove to be a dynamic member of our team."
