* The partner at a firm of accountants, in Stockton, Teesside, is joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales' Audit Registration Committee.
ROB TINDLE, of Tindle's Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, based in Scotswood House, Thornaby, has become one of 16 members from across the UK to be appointed to the committee, which ensures members follow audit regulations.
Mr Tindle has worked in accountancy for 25 years, during which time he has been chairman of the Teesside Society of Chartered Accountants.
He said: "I am pleased to be involved with some of the institute's most important work."
"I am hoping that I can use my experience to contribute to the committee."
