CELEBRITIES took part in a glitzy fashion shoot to raise vital funds for the Holistic Cancer Care Centre at James Cook University Hospital.
Well-known faces, including Tyne Tees TV presenter Pam Royle, TFM's Gary Philipson, Judy McCourt and Lisa Shaw of Century Radio and Darlington footballer Akpo Sodje, modelled a range of designer clothes.
In return for their services, Steven Bell, part-owner of The House in Yarm, donated £1,500 to the centre.
The celebrities visited The House and chose outfits from designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, Laundry, Chloe, D&G, Gina, Prada, Betty Jackson, Rodo and DKNY.
The centre provides holistic care for cancer patients registered with the hospital's radiotherapists, and their carers.
Complementary practitioners offer aromatherapy, reflexology, acupuncture, reiki healing, homeopathy, hypnotherapy and counselling.
There are also group sessions for reiki and auricular acupuncture, as well as an active arts and craft group.
Mr Bell said: "We're grateful to the very busy people who gave up their time to come along and be photographed.
"It was a really fun way to support a very worthwhile organisation."
Sue Stephenson, from the Holistic Cancer Care Centre, said: "A big thank you goes to Steven Bell and everyone at The House for hosting this amazing event.
"About 2,500 new patients are treated for cancer at James Cook University Hospital every year and the centre forms a vital part of services available.
"This is a wonderful donation, which helps to support the invaluable work of the centre."
