A HOSPICE will benefit from a performance when a pantomime comes to town.
Chaplins Theatre Company will present Cinderella in a one-off performance at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre on Sunday, December 18.
The event has been organised by Somerfield supermarket in the town, which is hoping to boost funds for The Butterwick Children's Hospice.
Colin Gourley, manager of Somerfield, said: "We're all very excited about the pantomime.
"We hope residents will come along and enjoy themselves as well as helping raise money for the hospice."
Tickets cost £7 for adults, and £5 for children and over-65s. They are available from the supermarket, in the town centre, or by calling Nicola Fewell at the Butterwick Children's Hospice on (01642) 624231.
